Our Story

Growing up in southern Colorado, Sam Granados's grandmother would send him into the nearby forest to collect branches and cones of the Ponderosa Pine. She would extract what she needed, then apply her ancient remedy to the bumps and bruises that went hand-in-hand with being an active child in the foothills of the Great Rocky Mountains.

Abuela also knew that pine was used as skincare since the inception of time and she applied it to soothe and smooth her own aging skin. Sam never forgot about his loving grandmother or the healing powers of the Ponderosa Pine that she held so dear.

Years later, as an adult and a very successful business owner, Sam still found himself drawn to his past and the power of nature he experienced as a youth. When he learned his cherished Ponderosa Pine forest was being threatened by environmental factors, he knew it was time to share his grandmother's secret with the world and help support his beloved forest along the way.

And that was the start of the BESO™ Skincare Line.
